Homemade Calming Mask

Homemade Calming Mask- A Mommy-do fav

A calming and hydrating mask is easy to do and perfect for the summer heat. Cucumber is known for its soothing and anti-inflammatory benefits. It will leave your skin feeling rejuvenated while greek yogurt is perfect for a gentle exfoliation. The combination of the two will leave you feeling refreshed in a quick 10 minutes. Add honey for an extra umph in your moisture levels.

Wash your face and leave your skin damp. Rub a generous amount of the yogurt mask onto your face and neck and allow the mask to dry completely (about 10 minutes). To remove, rinse skin with a warm water and gently buff with a soft cloth. Follow treatment with your moisturizer of choice.

  • 2 tablespoons pureed or shredded cucumber
  • 3 tablespoons greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon honey

Slice cucumbers and place them on your eyes if you choose to do so. Lay down, relax and enjoy your well deserved “me-time” mommy!
